It's 31 Days of Halloween in Denton and we kick off the festivities with Lady Cass and Fellas.

Curious Dog Creative, LLC produced the award-winning documentary short film, The Take Away, featuring Cassandra Berry and Jerusha Smith.
The Denton-based film production company, Curious Dog Creative, is grateful to the many patrons of Steve's Wine Bar who encouraged Directors Susan Carol Davis and Claire DeJarnett in the making of the award-winning documentary short film, The Take Away featuring Cassandra Berry and Jerusha Smith. In fact, Lady Cass and The Fellas are prominently featured in the film along with enthusiastic dancing fans!
The Take Away most recently won Best Documentary Short Film at Salt Lake City's Zepstone International Film and Music Festival and is soon screening at the following two outstanding festivals:
-- Women in Film Dallas' Topaz Film Festival (October 19th, exact time TBA)
-- Fort Worth's Lone Star Film Festival (November 1-4, exact date/time TBA)
Curious Dog Creative wants to screen The Take Away in as many cities, states and yes, even countries as possible in the next year. Paid submissions are made through an online service called FilmFreeway.com which is truly a remarkable way for people in many, many places to learn about our award-winning film.
If you would like to support our continued submissions to Festivals along with travel expenses incurred and our attendance at such events as the November 1st star-studded Gala for the Lone Star Film Festival, you can do so through the Curious Dog Creative, LLC Venmo account.
Wherever we go with The Take Away, we'll be sharing stories of Denton's amazing community of love, hospitality and many talented artists.
